A watercolour study of rooftops with a city skyline in the distance, possibly of Illinois, where the American Herbert J. Day (1875-1950) lived. Signed. On board.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration, very minor foxing, and paint loss to all corners of the board (see photos). Mount burn is particularly visible to the upper left corner.
