A serene mezzotint of the original portrait of Lady Emma Hamilton at her spinning wheel by George Romney(1734-1802),engraved by Henry T Greenhead. The plate has an inscription of the title , artists and date and address of the publisher. The portrait is on wove laid to board. Signed. On wove.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There is foxing throughout the surface, losses to all corners, watermarking to the top left and right corners. There are several scratches and scuffs over the plate surface.
