Hector McDonald Sutton (1903-1992) - Set of Original Mid 20th Century Pen and Ink Drawing. There is 11 drawing in this set, all with identical dimensions. From a portfolio of works by works by Hector McDonald Sutton, Beryl Davies, Macdonald Hastings and other artists. These drawings are in the style of Hector McDonald Sutton and we have attributed them accordingly. Unsigned. The geometric composition is drawn on buff paper which has been folded into thirds either sides of the drawing. The drawing itself measures (21 x 21 cm) and is drawn on a sheet of buff paper measuring (58 x 40 cm). Inscribed to lower- "The 20 Vigil Fylingdisclos". The other page is folded in half, the whole sheet measures (28 x 56 cm). There is a large loss to the lower left corner that is not visible in the image because the page is folded that is on the side where the drawing is, measuring (8 x 6 cm).

Hector McDonald Sutton is a British artist, born in Staffordshire. He studied art at the Southport and Liverpool Schools of Art and the Royal College of Art and exhibited at various galleries including the Royal Academy and the V & A Museum.
