Original Early 20th Century Mezzotint. Coloured mezzotint after a painting by Thomas Gainsborough. An attractive engraving, after the 1785 painting by Gainsborough, from the period of the 1920s when there was a vogue for mezzotint engravings after famous paintings. The painting by Gainsborough is in the Rococo style and shows a richly dressed couple and their dog in a lush forest." Unsigned. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration.Size
