Description

A charming early 19th Century watercolour portrait, showing a rosy cheeked young woman in traditional Swiss dress. The painting has been presented in an early 20th Century gilt frame with oval window mount. On the backing paper of the original frame was a label "Flury and Sohn, Rue Centrale Bienne" (Switzerland). On wove.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. The frame has some scuffing and tarnishing.
