DescriptionA view along a river towards mountains in Borrowdale near the Bowder Stone in Cumberland (now Cumbria). Presented glazed in a washline mount and gilt-effect wooden frame. Signed and dated to the lower-left corner. Inscribed with the location to the lower edge of the mount. On watercolour paper.
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some mild foxing and discolouration. A couple of very small chips to the frame. Overall in very good condition.
